Two days of future-focused ideas, actionable strategies, and candid conversations designed to move the insurance industry forward

Innovation creates the most value when it moves beyond ideas and into action. That belief is shaping the content at this year’s BrokerTech Connect, where brokerage leaders, technology innovators, and industry changemakers will come together for candid conversations about what it takes to build the brokerage of the future.

Brokers sit closest to clients and experience firsthand where processes break down, where technology falls short, and where better solutions could create meaningful value; however, too many industry conversations happen in isolation. BrokerTech Connect brings brokers, carriers, wholesalers, insurtech founders, investors, and technology leaders into one intentionally curated environment to challenge assumptions, share practical insights, and turn promising ideas into real progress. At a moment when AI, shifting client expectations, and new operating models are transforming insurance distribution, this kind of broker-led collaboration has never been more important.

Leading that conversation will be keynote speaker Brian Solis, a globally recognized digital futurist, digital anthropologist, and ten-time bestselling author. As Head of Global Innovation at ServiceNow, former Vice President of Global Innovation at Salesforce, and a special adviser to the United Nations’ global innovation team, Solis helps organizations understand emerging technology—and translate its possibilities into meaningful business strategy.

From generative AI and spatial computing to digital twins and quantum computing, Solis is known for making complex trends accessible and actionable. His future-focused perspective will challenge attendees to move beyond feeling overwhelmed by change and begin approaching it with clarity, curiosity, and intention.

Across two days of programming, attendees will continue exploring the opportunities—and operational realities—of artificial intelligence. Beyond Buzzwords: Practical AI for the Modern Brokerage will examine how brokerages are using AI to generate organic growth, strengthen service, and modernize operations. Complementary sessions will explore AI adoption across agencies of different sizes and offer a practical path to AI maturity without the anxiety.

Of course, choosing the right technology is only part of the equation. Kotter’s Change Management session will bring a critical people-centered lens to the agenda, helping leaders consider how they can build urgency, align teams around a clear vision, remove barriers to action, and turn early progress into lasting transformation. Grounded in decades of research on how organizations successfully navigate change, the session will reinforce an essential message for every brokerage pursuing innovation: meaningful transformation happens when people are equipped and inspired to move it forward.

That theme continues with The M&A Back Office Blind Spot, which will unpack the financial operations challenges that can emerge as brokerages scale through acquisition. A session focused on workflow evolution and team adoption will also examine how thoughtful implementation helps organizations turn new platforms into sustainable progress.

On Wednesday, Theo Tabah will introduce attendees to Agentic Experience, or AX, and explore what happens when software evolves from a tool into a trusted relationship. The conversation will challenge brokers, carriers, and insurtech founders to consider why trust—not simply access to more AI—may become the industry’s next competitive advantage.

Brokerage economics will also take center stage. Creating the First 50% Margin Insurance Brokerage will make the case for AI-enabled placement as a powerful lever for productivity, revenue growth, and margin expansion.

Throughout the event, the BrokerTech Innovation Challenge will showcase emerging ideas designed to solve meaningful industry problems, culminating in the Innovation Challenge Award.

Together, these sessions reflect what BrokerTech Connect is all about: bringing the right people and perspectives together to turn shared insight into practical action—and accelerate broker-centric innovation across the insurance ecosystem.
